**DESCRIPTION** This is an absolutely charming little vintage Japanese lacquer box in the shape of a geta, or shoe worn with a kimono. The geta straps are cloth and have a small brass bell attached. The inside lid is mirrored and the rest of the interior is glossy black. This would be a lovely desk or dresser accessory, or a sweet small jewelry box. A lovely gift!
**CONDITION** This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with no repairs, cracks, or scratches. There is one tiny chip to the red lacquer finish on the edge of the lip of the lid.  Please see all photos above, which have been carefully taken to give an accurate representation of this item. These photos should be considered as part of the description.
