Russian Orthodox Icon "Abalackaya Madonna". Imperial Russia, icon painted in 19th century. Wood, tempera, gesso, hand painted on a leaf of silver. There are images of Saint Nicholas Wonderworker and Saint Mary of Egipt at the sides of the icon. Size 27 x 22 cm (10.6” x 8.7" x 1"). Good quality painting. Very nice and rare piece of religious art. The certificate is available upon request from Lithuanian Culture Department testifying the authenticity and age of the icon.
